Joker

Tonight I went to the Balmoral Cinema to see the movie Joker. Arthur Fleck(Joaquin Phoenix) an mentally ill patient who lives with his mother Penny (Frances Conroy) who inspires to be an stand up comedian and works at an clown for hire. He gets fired for having an gun during an visit to the children's hospital when it fell out of his pocket and on his way home on the train he is harassed by 3 men who worked for Wayne Enterprises which he gets beaten by them and then he kills them. He gets invited to be on the Murray Franklin show hosted by Murray Franklin(Robert De Niro) and also discovers some secrets about himself and also it gets interesting. It's Gripping, Brilliant, Fantastic and Superb with Brilliant and Superb acting by Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Zazie Beetz who plays Sophie and Brett Cullen who plays Thomas Wayne. It's directed by Todd Phillips who also produced it with Bradley Cooper and Emma Tillinger Kosoff as well as doing the screenplay with Scott Silver. This is one of Joaquin Phoenix's finest performances and in the way he played it he did so brilliantly and I am giving it 4 and an half stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you'll be amazed.
