Tattoo You the Rolling Stones

It's 40 years ago this year when the Rolling Stones released the album Tattoo You which featured 4 hit singles Start Me Up, Waiting On A Friend, Little L&T and Hang Fire and among the musicians besides from the Stones who played on the tracks were Nicky Hopkins, Billy Preston and ex Rolling Stone Mick Taylor and Sonny Rollins. The album went to number 2 in the UK and number 1 in the USA and Australia and it is now being re-issued again as it's 40 years since it came out which I am reviewing the double CD edition. On the double CD it has the original tracks that was on the album 40 years ago and on the second CD which has lost and found rarities of songs that were recorded from 1972 up to the late 70's including version of Drift Away and Shame Shame Shame as well as an early version of Start Me up. It is AWESOME, ROCKIN and SUPERB with FANTASTIC songs which still sound great today and it is just as good today as it did 40 years ago as you still hear Start Me Up on the radio as well as Waiting On A Friend. The Stones are currently on the road at the moment in the USA and are doing very well considering the passing of Charlie Watts just recently. This is a must for Rolling Stones fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed.
