Where The Crawdads Sing

This afternoon I went to the movies at South Bank Cinema where I saw the movie Where The Crawdads Sing. Catherine "Kya" Clark (Daisy Edgar Jones) who has been living in an North Carolina marsh since the 1950's as she grew up with an abusive father who also drank and gamble their money away and one by one her mother and siblings leave due to his abuse which she is alone with him for a while longer until he too leaves her which she is on her own and is friendly with her brother Joey's friend Tate (Taylor John Smith) which he teaches her to read and write as well as lending her books as well as going to romantic relationship but it ends as Tate goes to college and had promised to see on July 4th but didn't happend. Kya starts drawing things as well as her knowledge of biology and she sends her drawings of nature to a publishing company which leads to having her book published. She then meets Chase Andrews (Harris Dickinson) who is an quarter back and gets romantically involved which he promises her marriage but then ends it when she finds out that he is already engaged. He is later found dead and Kya is charged with murder which she is on trail and it gets interestung. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC acting by Daisy Edgar Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harry Dickinson,Michael Hyatt and David Strathairn. It is directed by Olivia Newman, screenplay done by Lucy Alibar and produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter. It is another great film well worth seeing and I have to say Daisy Edgar Jones' performance as Kya is just brilliant and she plays the role so brilliantly along with the other cast members in the film. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
