Walking Back Home by Ricky Ross

This is the memoir of British singer and songwriter and founding member of legendary British band Deacon Blue Ricky Ross and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Dundee, doing piano lessons, doing teaching, played in his first band, formed Deacon Blue in 1985, achieving success with hit singles including I'll Never Fall In Love Again, Dignity and many others, his 2 marriages, encounters with Bruce Springsteen, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards, the break up in 1994 and many others. It is fantatsic and excellent as well as very impressive and very entertaining with great stories told by Ricky which it's well worth an read. Ricky is still with Deacon Blue which they will be touring the UK in September 2023 and he also does radio which he does BBC Radio Sotland's Americana music show Another Country and Ricky Ross's New Tradition for BBC 2 as well as an podcast Ricky Ross Meets. This is an must for 80's music fans and I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
