Fleetwood Max @ Kedron Wavell

Last Sunday I went to Kedron Wavell to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute act Fleetwood Max who are from Melbourne and it was my first time seeing them. I caught the bus to CHermside from the city, had a look at JB Hi Fi and walk to Kedron Wavell. Went to the Kitchen, had chicken schnitzel, chips and Salad for lunch, drank Coke With No Sugar, ate Sundae, had another coke with No sugar and write notes. Went to the Blue Pacific Room, went to the men's room which I put on an Fleetwood Mac Shirt, use mobile, saw Barbara who works there and drank Coke With No Sugar. The show started at around 3.05pm with Fleetwood Max coming on stage and in the first set they performed many of the Fleetwood Mac classics from the 70's and 80's as well as the stevie Nicks solo hits with Sue Jones doing both the Stevie Nicks lead vocals and Christine McVie lead vocals on those Fleetwood Mac songs as well as Jordan her son doing the Lindsey Buckingham lead vocals. There was an interval which I had an packet of chips and Coke with No Sugar and then the show started with an mixture of Fleetwood mac classics with some of the stevie Nicks solo songs which in the early parts of the set was just sue and Jordan on stage then the rest of the band came back on stage which they rocked through the set which the audience were standing up for the last few songs. The show ended at about 5.40pm, walk to the bus stop, caught bus to the city, caught bus to Carindale, went to the Carindale Hotel, had steak, Chips and salad for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, Dad picked me up and came home . It was an FANTASTIC show which the band was FANTASTIC too with great singing by Sue who did the Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie led Fleetwood Mac songs so brilliantly which it's very rear to see someone who do both of those lead vocals as well as Jordan doing an great job singing and doing the guitar along with the other musicians David on guitar. Rick on bass guitar, Fallon on Drums, Peter on lead guitar which he played brilliantly and on precussion and vocals which I think they are on the best Fleetwood Mac tribute acts I have seen along with the other one I saw an month ago the Dreams tribute show at the Koala Tavern. I hope they come back to Brisbane again in the future and if you have not have seen them please do yourselves an favour and SEE THEM which you will Love It. Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
