my week september 20th-26th

This week for me has been another really good and it began on sunday as I went to church which Keith Black preached and went to ten pin bowling with Friendship group which i scored 158 and 178 as well as there was an problem when my ball had some marks on it which they are trying to fix it up. Monday-friday went to work which it has been pretty busy but not too bad as it's school holidays at the moment, monday & tuesday had to work all day as Beth my mail lady was still sick but came back on wednesday which she's feeling better now, also on Wednesday there was the dust storm here in brisbane which so bad and when I left Chole from Nuclear Medicine gave me a mask to wear outside which i did, some of the areas moved chaplain &Medical Institute moved to 4B, Physical Sciences moved to 4th floor and CCT moved to 4th floor near 4F. On tuesday an familiar face from the past came to visit Kate Bellhouse who worked @ St Andrews when I started 10 years ago where we worked together for 3 and half years @ Executive until the mail room moved to patient Accounts where we still are with them today kate worked @ marketing, bookings and endo until she left st andrews in march 2007 and kate is coming back to work @ St ANdrews which she will be doing switchboard 3 days a week which i am glad she's back. during the week sandra from Allied Health returns after maternity leave, met Heather an regigstered nurse from Portland oregon who is working @ 4F, met Vicki(QCG), Kate(Allied Health), Laura,Kate and sinead(5D) from ireland and Linda Canniford (Educators) came back. went to cannon hill after work on thursday where i had an look @ K-Mart and Bookworld which i write down things for a xmas list, friday after work went to the movies where I saw the movie UP which was very good and very funny and today went to the Crossroads reunion @ South Bank which we had an wonderful time and 13 people attended myself included,steven peters,laura martinez, francis and shirley roiter, brooke preston, adrian lang,Mark tye, andy cardiff, Julie Mansfield, Sheena and her carer and anita garnett, had lunch in the food court, went for a swim and had ice cream for afternoon tea. Madonna, ani and tumoana are here for the weekend.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
