Ringo At The Ryman

Ringo At the Ryman is the live DVD that was recorded @ the Ryman Auditorium in NAshville Tennessee on July 7th 2012 which it was Ringo's 72nd birthday and and his birthday was celebrated with an extra special line-up of the All Stars touching on great unforgettable hits spanning 4 decades with an great line of the All Starr besides from Ringo there is Steve Lukather from Toto, Richard Page from Mr Mister, Mike Rivera (Billy Joel), Gregg Rolle (Santana/Journey), Todd Rundgren and Gregg Bissonette. The set list on the DVD is filled with classic hits that endures to this day including Yellow Submarine, It Don't Come Easy, I Wanna Be Your Man, Black Magic Woman, Africa, I Saw The Light, Kyrie Eleison and many others and it was during the show that ex Eagles member and All Starr Band member Joe Walsh made an guest appearance and at the encore artist performers came onstage including Joe's daughter Lucy, some of the nashville musicians including Vince Gill, Gary Burr and 2 ex members of the All Starrs Felix Cavaliere(The Rascals) and Richard Marx. It's an FANTASTIC and an AWESOME live DVD and the songs are just so great as well as an FANTASIC line up which except Joe Walsh it was the same line up that was in Australia in February this year. it's an great musical journey with great players as well as great music and an great birthday celebration and this live DVD is an must for an Beatles fans. I am giving 5 stars and it's in the shops now.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
