On January 14th 1973 Elvis Presley performed on stage @ the Honolulu International Center @ 12.30am in front of 6.000 fans which it was broadcast via satellite around the world which over 40 nations watching it and the fans watched an flawless and unfazed performance with Elvis performing his classic hits as well as contemporary hits which he was at his prime and this show was an benefit for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund which it's known as Aloha From Hawaii and in February it was released which it went to number 1 in the USA which it sold in an excess of 500,000 copies as it's has been certified 5 x Platinum and also it's out on CD along with the rehearsal show that was on January 12th 1973 which was known as the Alternate Aloha as well as 5 tracks that was especially recorded for the US TV Version. It's an AWESOME and an BRILLIANT double CD with great songs, an great band which included James Burton, Glen D Hardin, the Sweet Inspirations, JD Sumner and the Stamps etc and an great performance and also still sounds great today and it was this show was another remarkable landmark in the career of Elvis Presley. it's hard to believe that it's 40 years since this show was performed and this double CD is an must for any Elvis Presley fans which I am giving this 5 stars and it's in the shops now.
