Colette

Last Friday night I went to the Balmoral cinema to see the movie Colette and it's based on an true story. It's the dawn of the 20th century and Sidonie Gabrielle Colette(Keira Knightley) is a young woman who is from the country village marries Willy (Dominic West) an charismatic and dominant Parisian. She falls into the bohemian lifestyle of Paris where her creative talents are triggered and is convinced by Willy to write novels which it should be released under his name as the author which it's named Claudine as it's achieved phenomenal success and Colette and Willy become the first couple among contemporary celebrities. But then as time goes by Colette is getting frustrated as her work is getting the lack of recognition and is getting into an relationship with Missy(Denise Gough) but her husband is opposed to this which he's determined to hold on to her no matter what the emotional costs are required. It's an Fantastic movie with Fabulous acting by Keira Knightley, Dominic West, Denise Gough, Eleanor Tomlinson, Aiysha Hart and Fiona Shaw. I's directed by Wash Westmoreland and produced by Elizabeth Karlsen, Pamela Koffler, Michel Litvak and Christine Vachon. I am giving this 4 stars and it's in the cinemas now as it was released last week so do yourselves an favour and see it.
