Daddy Who by Craig Horne

This is the official biography of the legendary Australian 70's rock band Daddy Cool written by Craig Horne who is an musician himself and it talks about the members origins in other bands like Ross Wilson and Ross Hannaford had played in the Pink Finks and The Party Machine and Gary Young and Wayne Duncan played with Bobby and Laurie in the Rondells, formed Daddy Cool in 1970 which they would achieve great success with the classic Australian rock song Eagle Rock in 1971 along with other classics Come Back Again and Hi Honey Ho, the 3 US tours from playing at LA's Whisky A Go Go as well as support acts with Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Little Feat and Captain Beefheart, the break up in 1972, reformation in 1974 until 1975 and in 2005 and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME stories as well as entertaining and impressive and Craig Horne does an great job putting this book together. It's 47 years since Eagle Rock was released which it stills sounds great today as it was back then and Daddy Cool are still remembered fondly after all these years as 2 of them Ross Hannaford and Wayne Duncan have sadly passed as well as Ross Wilson still performs and Gary Young still plays sometimes. This is an must for Australian music fans as well as Daddy Cool fans and I am giving this 5 stars as it's in the shops so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be impressed.
