Air Supply @ QPAC

Last night I went to see legendary Australian duo Air Supply @ QPAC Concert Hall as it was my first time seeing them and they were supposed to play on Tuesday night due to some circumstances it was cancelled but at least it happened on Anzac Day. Dad took me to Carindale, caught bus to South Bank, went to Kitchen Next Door Bar which I had Grilled Chicken for dinner, did some writing and Walk to QPAC. Bought poster and Hat, ate Crunch, Drank Coke Zero, saw Dr Lu from my work, went inside, saw John an man I know from the gigs, write notes and waited. The show started @ 8pm with Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell coming on stage backed up by an 5 piece orchestra and 5 musicians with Aaron McClain (Guitar and Musical Director), Aviv Cohen (Drums), Doug Guild (Bass) and Mirko Tessandori (Keyboards) which they did 2 sets doing the classic hits they made famous in the 70's,80's and 90's as well as doing Without You the Badfinger song which Harry Nilsson had an big hit with in 1972 as well as entertaining the crowds as well as Graham doing an poem in tribute to his late father as well as Russell and Graham telling stories about first meeting as well as talking about record producer Peter Dawkins and they walked into the audience during The One That You Love which people took photos as well as the crowds were clapping every time they did an classic hit which it's wonderful to see. The show finished at 10.09pm, saw Marissa an lady from my work, caught bus to Carindale and Dad picked me up to go home. It was FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT and Russell and Graham sounded great as well as still singing great as ever as well as Graham's guitar is amazing and going on a trip down memory lane hearing those classic songs that has stood the test of time which sounds as good as ever as you will never tire hearing those songs and everyone enjoying themselves and having an great time.
