Dolittle

Yesterday afternoon I went to the South bank Cinema to see the movie Dolittle. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr) who is an vet who has an talent communicating with animals and lost his wife Lily (Kasia Smutinak) at sea which he is confined at home with his animals as it was his only communication with anyone meanwhile Queen Victoria (Jessie Buckley) is not well which she sends Dolittle an message ordering him to come in order to find an cure for her sickness and Dolittle and the gang which includes Polynesia the Macaw (Emma Thompson), Tommy (Harry Collett), Yoshi (John Cena), Betsy(Selena Gomez) sail on to find the cure while trying to avoid his rival Dr Blair Mudfly(Michael Sheen) but then the boat gets attack by Mudfly and they escape by attaching an harness to a humpback whale that takes the boat to safety. Dolittle is captured by his former father in law Rassouli (Antonio Banderas) with an tiger named Barry (Ralph Finnes) in a cage and it gets interesting. It's excellent, very funny and very entertaining with top and excellent acting by Robert Downey Jr, Emma Thompson, John Cena, Jessie Buckley, Selena Gomez, Harry Collett, Antonio Banderas, Jim Broadbent, Ralph Finnes, Rami Melek, Octavia Spencer and others. It's directed by Stephen Gaghan who did the screenplay with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand and producers were Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Susan Downey. I give it 4 stars and it is still running in the cinemas so do yourselves an favour and See it which you will be entertained.
