Homegrown by Neil Young

This is the new album by legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young and these songs were from June 1974-January 1975  which was recorded after the album On The Beach was released and before the making of Zuma. The tracks on it like the the other 2 albums was inspired  by Neil Young's relationship with actress Carrie Snodgress  which was fading in 1974 and was ready and due for release in 1975 but instead Tonight's The Night was out instead which this album was never released until now. It was recorded in Redwood City California, Los Angeles and London  and among the musicians who played on it were Robbie Robertson and Levon Helm of the Band as well as Emmylou Harris doing the backing vocals. It's an FANTASTIC album with great songs and an great sound and it's amazing that it's taken 45 years to be released but now it's here to be heard.  It's done very well which has gone to number 17 in the USA, number 2 in the UK and here in Australia number 17. I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which You'll love it.
