I Apologise by PJ Proby

American singer PJ Proby who had recorded in the USA as well as being an songwriter who went to England after being introduced to British Music TV producer Jack Good by Sharon Sheeley and Jackie DeShannon was having successful hit singles in the UK between 1964 until 1968 with songs including Somewhere, Hold Me, Maria and many others and in 1965 had an record with an song called I Apologise which was an cover of an 1931 song by Bing Crosby as well as Nat Shilkret went to number 11 in the UK but in Brisbane it went to number 23 which it's intersting as it was not an hit in Australia.
