Mary Wilson @ The Powerhouse

On Thursday June 11th I went to the Powerhouse in New Farm to legendary American singer and founding member of the legendary Motown group The Supremes Mary Wilson which it was my second time seeing her as my first time was at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for the Motown show on Tuesday February 23rd 2010 but it was my first seeing a proper show of hers and this show was called Up Close.I caught a bus to the city, went to KFC which I had an 2 piece feed chicken and chips for dinner, drank Pepsi max, ate Kit Kat McFlurry which I bought it from maccas, caught bus from Adelaide Street, got off at new Farm and walk to the Powerhouse. Rang Home, drank Coke, went inside the room and waited. Billy Washington's Drifters @ the Marquee SUnday June 7th 2015

On Sunday night June 7th I went to the Marquee to see the Billy Washington Drifters as it was my 3rd time seeing them live and the last time I saw them was at the Marquee on Wednesday June 5th 2007 with the Dominoes, Harry DeLuxe and Wanda Jackson. I walked to the Marquee, saw Billy and Gail from the Chelsea Set, met Don from the Billy Washington's Drifters and had a drink of water. The show started @ about 7.30pm with comedian Kenny Bennett coming on stage telling funny jokes which made everyone laugh and he was so funny which I enjoyed his set and there was an interval which I had an Coke Zero. Catfish and the Dee Jays @ Coolangatta Bowls Club Sunday June 7th 2015

On Sunday afternoon June 7th 2015 I went to see Catfish and the Dee Jays @ the Coolangatta Bowls Club which it was my 7th time seeing them and it was my first time in 9 years seeing a show @ the Coolangatta Bowls Club as the last time I went to a show there was on Sunday June 11th 2006 when I saw Digger Revell with Mum. I walked to the club after the Mighty Guys show the Beach House Stage, signed in and use my mobile. The show started @ 1pm and for the next 4 hours they did 4 sets which they did rock n roll songs as well as some country songs as well as people like Dire Straits, Beatles, Easybeats and others and in the intervals I spoke with a lady as well as looking at the program, ate chips, drank Coke Zero,Drank Water and did some writing and the people were dancing and enjoying themselves at the show and also comedian Kenny Bennett was the club having lunch. The Mighty Guys @ the Beach House Stage Sunday June 7th 2015

On Sunday morning June 7th I went to the Beach House stage on Marine Parade to see the rock group the Mighty Guys which it was my first seeing them on their own as I have seen them sing a few songs on their own as well as backing up the singers during Cooly Rocks and The line-up of the Mighty Guys @ that show were 3 original founding members Mick Hamilton, Leon Isackson and Phil Eizenberg and bassist Mike Lawler. The show started @ 11am which they did 2 sets and they performed classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by mainly Mick and Leon as well as the songs they wrote themselves which was recorded in the 80's including Be Cool Be Smart with Phil on lead as well as Rockin All Through the Night and there was an interval which I had fried rice for lunch with a Coke to drink as well as seeing Mike Lawler and Leon and also got an photo with Mike as well as Leon and also with Mick, Phil and Leon which was taken by Idris Jones of the Mixtures who was in the audience at that sh...

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the ...
