LAst Saturday night I went to the Myer Centre cinema to see the movie Ruby Sparks. Calvin Weir Fields (Paul Dano)is an young writer is having writer's block which had wrote an successful novel at age but had struggling to write in equal quality and Dr Rosenthal(Elliot Gould) an therapist gives Calvin an writing assignment which it is to write about someone who likes his dog Scotty. He has an dream that night which in the dream he meets an young woman which she draws an picture of him and takes an liking to him which after he wakes up inspired by the young woman which he starts to write pages about her and he names her Ruby Sparks played by Zoe kazan and it gets really interesting throughout the movie. it's an excellent movie and it's funny with excellent acting by Paul Dano, Elliot Gould, Zoe Kazan who also wrote the movie, Chris Messina who plays Calvin's brother Harry, Toni Trucks plays Calvin's sister in law Susie, Alia Shawkat plays Mabel who is an fan of cAlvin's novel, Annette Bening plays Calvin's mother, Antonio Banderas and others. Johnathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directed it and produced by Albert Berger, bart Lipton and Ron Yexra. I am giving this 4 stars and it is currently in the cinemas now.
