Rock Or Bust AC/DC

Rock or Bust is the brand new album by legendary Australian hard rock band AC/DC. This album was recorded @ Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Canada this year and it was produced by Brendan O'Brien who produced AC/DC's 2008 album Black Ice as well as producing people like Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger, Pearl Jam, Train, The Living End, Offspring as well as engineering done by Mike Fraser with additional engineering by Billy Bowers and Tom Syrowski. It is AWESOME, ROCKIN and an BRILLIANT album and the songs are just ROCKIN too with great playing by the guys with great singing by Brian Johnston as everyone knows that Malcolm Young is not on the album as we all know that he has dementia very sadly so his and Angus' nephew Stevie Young plays on it and also Phil Rudd even though is on the album is in trouble with the law at the moment with possession of methamphetamine and possession of cannabis and a threatening to murder. This album is at number 1 in Australia, Sweden & Belgium, Number 2 in New Zealand, number 3 in Denmark, number 4 in Holland and number 6 in Ireland and it is platinum in Australia and Austria, Gold in New Zealand and Sweden and Silver in the UK which it is great to see and for an band who has been around for 41 years AC DC are still going as they will be going out on tour in 2015. This album is a must for any AC DC fans and I am giving it 5 stars which it is in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

Roland Storm , Bryan Davies and the Mighty Guys show @ South Tweed Sports Club June 6th 2015

On Saturday June 6th I went to the South Tweed Sports Club in the evening where I saw legendary Australian singers Roland Storm and Bryan Davies as well as the rock group the Mighty Guys. Dad took me to the Club, signed in, went inside, bought an Pepsi max, drank it, saw Mick Hamilton(had not seen since Sunday June 9th 2013) and Leon Isackson and waited. The show started after 8pm with the Mighty Guys doing a few songs which were classic rock n roll songs with lead vocals done by both Leon Isackson and Mick Hamilton and then Roland Storm and Bryan Davies came on stage which they did a few songs together which then Roland did his set which he performed an set of classic rock songs as well as doing his hit from 1992 with Rolling With the Flow and there was an interval which Roland was selling CD's as I already have them but he came which people bought them as well as seeing Mike Lawler which I mentioned to him about the Rajahs version of a Beatles song on the Australia Salutes the
