You Shouldn't Have Joined by Peter Cosgrove


 This is the memoir of former Army Officer and Australian Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove and in this book he talks about his growing up in Paddington NSW, Going to Royal Military College in Duntroon, joining the army  which he saw action in Vietnam and would win the Military Cross, helping with the aftermath of Cyclone Tracy in Darwin as well as Cyclone Larry in Queensland in 2006, becoming the Chief of the  Defense Force, leading the peacekeeping mission (INTERFET) in East Timor in 1999, becoming Governor General of Australia in 2014 which would last until 2019, going through 3 Prime Ministers, meeting royalty and politicians and many others. It's an FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and an SUPERB book with FANTASTIC and Entertaining stories as well as very impressive and an FANTASTIC read. I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be amazed and impressed.
