Among the other acts on the charts that week were the Beatles at number 5 with She Loves You, Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs at number 6 with Daisy Petal Pickin, The Trashmen at number 10 with Surfin Bird, Dion at number 14 with Drip Drop, Jan and Dean at number 16 with Drag City, the Rip Chords at number 17 with Hey Little Cobra, the Beach Boys at number 22 with Hawaii which was from the Surfer Girl album, Roy Orbison at number 24 with Pretty paper written by Willie Nelson, the Supremes at number 27 with When The Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes, the Ronettes at number 29 with Baby I Love You, Elvis Presley at number 36 with Bossa Nova Baby and Chubby Checker at number 40 with Loddy Lo and the Australian acts on the charts that week were Little Pattie with He's My Blonde Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Boy at number 7, Frank Ifield at number 9 with Please, Johnny Chester at number 12 with Teeny, the Atlantics at number 18 with the Crusher and Dig Richards at number 35 with Comin Down.
