This is from the Telegraph February 3rd 1965 and this was the 4BK Top 10 with local boy from Moorooka Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs at number 1 with their version of the Judy Garland song Over The Rainbow which it was the final single for the original line up of the Aztecs(Col Baigent, Tony Barber (not the Sale Of the Century host), Vince Melouney and John "Bluey" Watson), Julie Rogers at number 2 with the Wedding, Petula Clark at number 3 with the song written by Tony Hatch Downtown, Bobby Vinton at number 4 with Mr Lonley, The Drifters at number 5 with the song written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil Saturday Night At The Movies, Gene Pitney at number 6 with I'm Gonna Be Strong, Del Shannon at number 7 with Keep Searchin, Matt Monro at number 8 with Walk Away, Johnny Rivers at number 9 with his version of the Harold Dorman song from 1960 Mountain Of Love and at number 10 Tommy Roe with Party Girl.
