No Plans Cold Chisel

No Plans is the latest album by legendary Australian rock band Cold Chisel which it's their first album in 14 years since the Last Wave Of Summer album back in 1998 and it was recorded at Studios 301 in Sydney. This album was produced by Kevin Shirley who also mixed it also as well as working with acts like Aerosmith,the ANgels,Tina Arena,the Screaming Jets, Silverchair, Rush, the Black Crowes and others and Simon Todkill was the engineer. This album also features the final recordings of Drummer Steve Preswitch who passed away from an brain tumor on January 16th 2011 which he is some of the recordings including I Got Things To Do which he sings lead and also has current drummer Charley Drayton from the Divinyls and Catfish playing on the others tracks as well which most of the songs had been recorded before Steve's passing and resumed recording an few months later. This is an EXCELLENT and an BRILLIANT album and also it rocks with the band sounding great as ever with great singing by Jimmy Barnes as well as Brilliant guiatr playing by Ian Moss and on this album Don Walker writes 10 of the tracks including one with Australian country simger Troy Casser Daley called HQ454 Monroe, Jimmy BArnes wrote Dead and Laid To Rest with Guy Davies, Ian Moss writes Too Late which he sounds excellent and I got things to do written by Steve Preswitch which he sings lead as well.All the songs are Brilliant and besides from Kevin Shirley who produced most of the tracks Cold Chisel produced 2 and Nash Chambers produced the other and it's an must for any Cold Chisel fans as well as fans of Australian rock. I give this 5 stars and it's in the shops now.
