On Saturday Night June 9th I went to Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club where I saw American pianist and singer Lance Lipinsky which it was my 8th time seeing him as the last time I saw him was 4 years ago at Twin Towns. I had dinner at the club which I had Chicken Pamigiana, chips and Salad for dinner, drank Pepsi Max, had Ice Cream and Migraine for desert, went inside, saw Heidi and Matman, drank water and saw Steve from NZ. The show started about 8.30pm which Lance backed by the Side Kicks came on stage which he did 2 hours with no break doing the classic rock and roll stuff by people like Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry and many others as well as his own songs and doing the movements like standing on the piano as well as playing guitar too as well as interacting with the audience which it's great and getting everyone entertained getting the crowd to sing along to the songs as well as thanking the fans for their support over the years and also at the end of WHole Lotta Shakin Goin On Kris Knight who does the Buddy Holly tribute show came on the stage to the chorus of the song which was great to see. After the show finished had an Pepsi Max to drink, spoke with Gail who plays piano in the back up bands for both Dennis Knight and Kris Knight , Lance came out to sign stuff as well as getting photos with the fans which he signed the CD for me and getting an photo with me as he remembered me from the other shows, went outside, caught the bus back to Twin Towns and walk back To Bella Mare. It was an AWESOME show with AWESOME Rock and Roll which the songs still sound as good today as anytime and I along with the audience had an great time enjoying his performance as well as getting the crowd entertained as well as being friendly with the fans too. Thanks to Matman who has been bringing Lance to the Gold Coast as he has been doing that since 2006 and an great job that he does to bring him to one of the great festivals down on the coast which without the support by the fans he wouldn't keep coming so let's keep on the support for Lance and I hope he comes back next year. If you have not seen Lance do yourselves an favour and see him as he does the greatest rock and roll doing the best rock and roll classics of the 50's which lives on today and always will which you will be amazed by it.
