Main Offender by Keith Richards

It was 30 years ago this year when Rolling Stones guitarist and songwriter Keith Richards released his second solo album Main Offender which was the follow up to the 1988 album Talk Is Cheap album with his own band The X Pensive Winos and the album was recorded in New York and California from March 18th-September 6th 1992. It was produced by Keith, Steve Jordan and Waddy Watchel and it was released October 19th 1992 which went to number 45 in the UK, number 99 in the USA and number 96 in Australia. It is reissued again as I am reviewing the double CD edition which the first CD has the original album tracks and on the second CD has an live recording at the Town and Country Club in London England December 17th-18th 1992 which he performed some tracks from the album as well as songs from the Talk Is Cheap album and 3 Rolling Stones songs. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT and the songs are just AWESOME which they sound great today and Keith and manager Jane Rose were the executive producers for the reissue and Keith has just done an show in the USA wih the X Pensive Winos recently for an benefit show in New York and he will be touring Europe with the Rolling Stones in June for their 60th anniversary of their formation as well as making new music too with them. I give it 4 and an half stars as it is in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it and be impressed with it.
