The Duke

Today I went to the movies at Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the movie The Duke which it's based on an true story. It's 1961 and Kempton Bunton(Jim Broadbent) who is an taxi driver and who had been campaining for pensioners get free TV steals the portrait of the Duke Wellington done by Goya from the National Gallery in London and sending ransome notes saying that he will bring them back if the Government listens and then it gets interesting. It is Fantatsic, very funny and very entertaining with great acting by Jim Broadbent, Helne Mirren who plays his wife Dorothy, Fionn Whitehead, Matthew Goode and Anna Maxwell Martin. It was directed by Roger Michell and produced by Nicky Bentham. it is an feel good film and is an well worth movie to watch with great acting which I think it's one of the finest performances that Jim Broadbent has done and any movie that has Helen Mirren in it does it so very well. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which it worth seeing it and you will be impressed and entertained.
