This is the autobiography of legendary American Blues harmonica player, singer and songwriter Billy Boy Arnold and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Chicago, got his first harmonica as an young boy, meeting Sonny Boy Williamson, starting playing on street corners, working with Bo Diddley which he gave him the name and he played on I'm A Man, the blues music scene in Chicago, Began recording for Cool Records and Vee Jay where he recorded the classics I Wish You Would and I Ain't Got You, had an day job as an bus driver and parole officer, working with Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Earl Hooker and many others. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories told by Billy as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is an FANTASTIC which is well worth reading and taking us on the journey going through the blues scene in Chicago and the people he worked with. Bily Boy is still performing and this book is co written with Kim Field is an active musician and author. This is an must for blues music fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
