Gerry and the pacemakers concert-Kedron Wavell 18th march 2011

Last Friday March 18th I went to see legendary British 60's group Gerry and the Pacemakers @ Kedron-Wavell as my fourth time seeing them which the first was at the British 60's concert @ Festival Hall on Saturday February 11th 1995, 2nd @ Kedron-Wavell with the Reelin and Rockin show Thursday February 14th 2002 and 3rd @ Twin Towns also with the Reelin & rockin show on Saturday June 7th 2003 during Wintersun which it was my very first trip there. The show @ kedron-Wavell was FANTASTIC and it was sold out which it's great to see that. the support act on the night were the All Stars an group from Melbourne with Ian B Allen on bass who have been the support acts for the legendary rockers who toured Australia as well as Ian been the promoter too and they did an set of rock'n'roll songs which was just GREAT. There was an interval where I saw an Lady i work with @ St Andrews War memorial Hospital named Maryanne Jamieson and bought Coke Zero which i drank it and also before the show I saw Michael who comes to some of the shows there and Margaret an lady i see at st Andrews Place. then Gerry Marsden came with the All Stars as the Pacemakers and he put on an FANTASTIC show doing most of the hits as well as other songs which he told some stories about the inspiration behind the song "Don't let the sun catch you Crying" as well as getting How Do You Do it. he also has an very cheeky sense of humour and very funny which his show was for an hour and bit and also after the show he came to sign autographs as well as getting photos with the fans which I got an photo and a autograph. I saw 2 people from Mt Gravatt High School Mr hall and Mrs Wallace and saw Marcia an lady who is on my Facebook. It was an FANTASTIC night which I enjoyed the show very much and hope Gerry comes back again soon. If you want to see Gerry check him as he puts on an great show doing his famous stuff from that era and with very good humour you will be impressed.
