Chicago Live in 75
In 1975 after releasing their 8th album Chicago VIII which went gold for the 8th time consecutively the American rock group Chicago did an stadium tour of America with the Beach Boys and at the capital Centre in Largo Maryland on June 24th-26th 1975 that it was recorded live but it was unreleased until 2011 when it was released as a limited edition and it now has a general release as it was released here in Australia an month ago. On this live double CD they performed many of their hits at that time including 25 or 6 To 4, Make Me Smile,Feelin Stronger Every Day, Beginnings, Colour My World and others as well as their version of the Beatles song Got to Get You Into My Life. It is an FANTASTIC and an BRILLIANT live CD with great songs and the group were at their peak at that time which they sounded great on it. Ben Edmonds who wrote the book What's Going On Marvin Gaye and the Last Days of the Motown Sound as well as being the American correspondent of British music magazine Mojo and Chicago are still touring and recording with 4 of the original members Robert Lamm, James Pankow, Lee Loughnane and Walter Parazaider. This double Cd is a must for the fans of 70's music as well as fans of Chicago and I give this 4 and a half stars which it's in the shops so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
