Poster Girl is the autobiography of Australian country music singer Beccy Cole. In this book she talks about her upbringing in Adelaide in Blackwood, her parents split up when she was 9, playing her first gig at age 14, playing in 2 bands The Wild Oats and the Dead Ringer Band that including Kasey Chambers and her brother Nash, releasing her first single Foolin Around in 1992, achieving great success up to this day, her personal life including coming out as a lesbian as well as her marriage to Mick Albeck an musician with whom she has a son, performing at Tamworth Country Festival as well as Iraq and many others. it is an FANTASTIC,BRILLIANT and an SUPERB book with BRILLIANT stories told by Beccy and it is also an enjoyable read too. Beccy is still going strong after 23 years and has just released an new album called Sweet Rebecca as still touring Australia as she did a tour recently with Melinda Schneider as well as recording an album. This book is a must for Australian country music fans as well as Beccy Cole fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
