Blues From Laurel Canyon by John Mayall

This is the autobiography of British blues musician John Mayall and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Manchester, starting collecting Jazz and Blues Records at an young age, served in the National Service in Korea, played in the Dreamland Boys, studying at the Manchester College Of Art, played in The Powerhouse Four and Blues Syndicate before eventually forming The Bluesbreakers which would be an launching pad for musicians like Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, Hughie Flint, Mick Taylor and others, moving to America and others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME and Very Entertaining stories  about his journey from manchester, Korea, England and the World as well as the start of the British Blues Scene in the 60's. John is still performing although at the moment not able to because of the Corona Virus and I am sure he will be back on the road soon once the situation dies down. This is an must for Blues music fans  and I am giving this 5 stars as it's in the bookshops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
