Three Faces of Eve

This was the 3rd movie for Joanne Woodward  whose first movie was in 1955 with Count Three and Pray and in the Three Faces Of Eve she plays an young housewife and mother named Eve White who is married to Ralph(David Wayne) and have an daughter named Bonnie(Terry Ann Ross) is having server headaches and blackouts  and goes to see an Psychiatrist Dr Luther (Lee J Cobb)  who then encounters Eve Black the 2nd personality who like to party and enjoying herself and also while  she continues to her therapy with Multiple Personality  an 3rd personality named Jane who is sensible and intelligent person comes and it gets interesting. It's an FANTASTIC movie with an FANTASTIC performance by Joanne Woodward who won the Best Actress Academy Awards which she also was the first actress to win an Oscar for playing 3 different personalities as well as the first film since 1936 to win the Best Actress Award   which no other categories were nominated. Other Fantastic performances by Lee J Cobb, David Wayne, Edwin Jerome, Nancy Kulp (before Beverley Hillbillies) as well as an uncredited appearance by Vince Edwards who was to play Dr Ben Casey in the TV Series of the same name in the 60's. It is based on the True Story which was written by Corbett H Thigpen and Harvey M Cleckley  as it about an woman named Chris Costner Sizemore which  her true indentity was concealed in interviews and was revealed to the public until 1977. Nunnally Johnson directed it as well as produced it and doing the screenplay and journalist Alistair Cooke did the narration. It holds up so very well to this day and it's an good story  dealing with a subject which was the known as Multiple Personality now known as Dissociate Identity Disorder  and it is well worth watching which I'm sure there is an DVD out there so you have get it and watch it which you will be impressed.
