Legends of Rock and Roll Show with Issi Dye. Glenn Douglas, Sharon Lee and Tony Worsley @ Twin Towns

Last Tuesday June 13th I went to Twin Towns to see the Legends of Rock and Roll Show with Issi Dye, Glenn Douglas, Sharon Lee (who does an Olivia Newton John tribute) and Tony Worsley which it was my first time seeing Sharon but seen Issi and Glenn @ Cooly Rocks On at Greenmount Surf Club and Tony Worsley an year ago @ Twin Towns on Tuesday June 7th last year. I caught the bus to South Bank, went to South Bank Train Station, caught train to Varsity Lakes, caught bus to Coolangatta rang Dad and walk to Twin Towns. Went to the 5th floor, saw Anne Worsley(Tony's wife), went inside and write notes. The show started after 11am with Issi Dye and Glenn Douglas coming on backed up by Andre Els who plays with the Delltones tribute show and Les on drums started doing 2 songs, Sharon Lee who does an Olivia Newton John tribute show came on which she sang some of Olivia's big hits from the 70's and 80's and put on an an hat during her set, Issi and Glenn came on stage doing the Everly Brothers doing some of their classic hits from the 50's and 60's as well as Issi mentioning about working with the Everlys in the 70's, Tony Worsley came on next doing an few songs before finishing off with his 1965 hit Velvet Waters, Glenn came back on stage doing the Roy Orbsion songs from the different eras, Issi came on stage doing the Johnny O'Keefe classics as well an Elvis tribute performer named Peter Triantis came on stage singing All Shook Up with Issi and everyone came back on stage for the last 2 songs including Johnny Be Goode with Tony Worsley playing Harmonica which he plays it very well. The show ended after 12.30pm which the performers came out to the foyer to sign stuff and photos with the fans as Issi, Glenn and Tony had CD's for sale and I got photos with Issi, Glenn, Sharon and Tony which he also signed the 45 record which was Something's Got A Hold On Me from 1966, went to Subway where I had Smokey chicken Chipotle and Salad Roll for lunch, drank Coke with No Sugar, ate cookies, went to bus stop, caught bus to Varsity Lakes, caught train to South Brisbane and caught bus home. It was an FANTASTIC show with great singing and entertainment by Issi, Glenn, Sharon, Tony and Peter as well as great back up by Les and Andre who did the backing vocals too which he sounded great and everyone in the audience enjoyed themselves as well as being entertained which Issi mentioned that he will be back at Twin Towns in January 2024. If you have not seen Issi live please do youselves an favour and SEE HIM which you will be amazed and impressed as well as being entertained.
