4BC Top 40 charts January 19th 1973

This is the 4BC charts from the Telegraph January 19th 1973 with Michael jackson at number 1 with Ben, Russell Morris at number 2 with Wings Of A Eagle, Donna Fargo at number 3 with the Funniest Girl In The Whole USA and Lobo at number 4 with I'd Love You To Want Me. the debut entries in the top 40 that week were Bruce Ruffin at number 32, Kincade with Dreams Are Ten A Penny at number 36, You're So Vain by Carly Simon at number 39 and Your Mama Don't Dance by Loggins and Messina at number 40. Other Australian acts in the top 40 also that week were Melbourne group Jigsaw who backed up Johnny Chester at that time was at number 6 with Mademoiselle Ninette, Helen Reddy with I Am Woman at number 11, Sherbet at number 12 with You've Got The Gun, Rick Springfield with What Would The Children Think at number 14, Johnny (John) Farnham at number 21 with Don't You Know It's Magic which was written by Brian Cadd and Colleen Hewett at number 29 with her version of the Beatles song Carry That Weight.
