The Australian and Kiwi acts on the chart that week were Little Pattie at number 6 with the Song written by Australian singer Jay Justin with He's My Blonde Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Boy, at number 11 the Atlantics with The Crusher, Dig Richards at number 20 with Comin Down, Frank Ifield at number 23 with Please, New Zealander Peter Posa with The White Rabbit at number 37 and New zealander based in Australia Johnny Devlin with Stomp The Tumbarumba which the Bee Gees were on backing vocals. Among the other acts on the chart were the Dave Clark Five with Glad All Over at number 7, Jan and Dean at number 12 with Drag City, Cliff Richard and the Shadows at number 18 with Don't Talk To Him which Cliff wrote it with Bruce Welch from the Shadows, Robin Ward at number 22 with Wonderful Summer, Elvis Presley at number 26 with Bossa Nova Baby and the Supremes at number 34 with When The Lovelight Starts shining Through His Eyes.
