Too Much Fandango by Ritzi

For this week's lost classics let's have an look at the 1976 Australian hit by British group Ritzi. The group were from the Flyde an area of Lancashire England in 1975 with the line up of Mick Carroll, Pete Hughes, Phil Free, Nigel Sawyer and Pete Long and in 1976 released the single Too Much Fandago which was written by members Mick Carroll and Pete Hughes which was produced by Roy Morris and Bruno Kretzschmar on the Warner Brothers label . The song was an hit in Australia which went to number 28 in Australia and number 4 in Brisbane. I saw Pete and Mick performed the song when they played with Eric Haydock's Hollies at Kedron Wavell Friday June 23rd 2000 and it sounded great.
