Breakfast With the Stars 2012 @ the MArquee Coolangatta

On Sunday Morning June 10th I went to the Breakfast with the stars which was my 8th time going there as i went to 3 of them last year during the first Cooly ROcks On that were @ the Coolangatta Surf Club. It was only annouced an week before Cooly ROcks On started as I asked early in the year on the Facebook page was it going to happend again but they said no and I then saw the annoucement on the Cooly ROcks On Page on facebook which was amazing and the people were Frankie J Holden Wilbur Wilde, Si Cranston and Glenn A Baker which Lucky Starr was supposed to come but did'nt. it was wet on that Sunday but did'nt stop me from going and saw my friends Vivian and Bob as well some of the people I met on the bus going to the golf club the night before and my facebook friend Sheila. the breakfast started around 8.20am which i had Bacon,TOmato and scarmbled eggs for breakfast and then Frankie J Holden, Wilbur Wilde, Si Cranston and Glenn A Baker coming on stage telling stories about their careers as well as Glenn A Baker talking about Cliff Richard in 1988 at a press confrence and si telling about how he started in music. I was the only one to ask an question which i asked Frankie J about how important was COuntdown for acts like him and Wilbur and others which he said it was very important and the exposure it gave the artist and saying on the first tour Ol'55 did lot of people were packed due to countdown and also Wilbur and Frankie J holden said 'very good question Luke'. Si Cranston sang 3 songs-Dynamio, Italian eyes and Lonesome heart which it was FANTASTIC and bought an CD which he signed it as well as getting him and one with him and Frankie J Holden. I asked Frankie J holden about the others members of Ol'55, music coming out on CD and any chances of an reunion with the group and spoke with Glenn A BAker about reissue albums including the Max Merritt and Meteors albums from 1970 and 1971 that was out on CD in 2007. it was an FANTASTIC breakfast and had an great time which i hope they do it again next year.
