J edgar

Last Saturday I went to the Balmoral Cinema to see the movie J edgar. Leonardo DiCaprico plays one of the most powerful men in America J Edgar Hoover who from 1924-1972 who was the head of the FBI. the events both personal and private in the film does not unfold chronoigcal but we do know what is happening as we see Hoover with his mother Anna(Judi Dench) as well as creating the FBI as his own kingdom. We see through the eyes of Hoover we would see history like Gangster Wars, the kidnapping of Charles Lindberg Jr, and other events as well as behind closed doors as he held secrets that would have destroyed his image as well as blackmailing Presidents and other public figures. It's an totally BRILLIANT movie with BRILLIANT performances by Leonard DiCaprio, Naomi Watts as his loyal secretary Helen Gandy, Armie Hammer as his loyal companion and deputy Clyde Tolson, Judi Dench as his mother, Josh Lucas as Charles Lindbergh and others. it's directed by Clint Eastwood who does an BRilliant job as producing it with Brian Glazer and Robert Lorenz and Dustin Lance Black does the writing. it's amazing to understand the history of a man who were would become the most powerful man and looking at history that happend which it's an great lesson to understand what was. I am giving this 5 stars and it's currently running in the cinemas now
