Sandie-Sandie Shaw

Sandie is the remastered first album for legendary British singer Sandie Shaw. The album was released back in February 1965 which went to number 3 in the UK ans it was produced by Kenny Woodman which on it had a mixture of songs written by Chris Andrews an British singer-songwriter including 2 that had been recorded by British singer Adam Faith and covers including Baby I need Your Loving, Downtown, It's In His Kiss, Always and many others and also by that time she had 1 British number 1 hit There's Always Something There To Remind and a top 5 with Girl Don't Come which they were not on the album but it is on the remastered album along with her 2nd number 1 hit Long Live Love along with I'll Stop at Nothing and the b-sides. It's AWESOME and BRILLIANT with great songs which still endures and still sounds great with legendary British music journalist Keith Altman doing the liner notes and also Sandie herself was also involved in the reissues which it's released through Salvo. Sandie is still around but she has just annouced her retirement from music back in April and she was always one of the top British 60's singers along with Petula Clark, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Lulu and Marianne Faithfull. This CD is a must for any 60's music fans as well as Sandie Shaw fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now.
